The Presidential Election in November should be one of the most important event in America. There are large amounts of convention speeches, television ads, and political talk shows being broadcasted on TV everyday. Last month, my husband and I went to Pricechopper, we even met an American friend who gave us a Barack Obama for President Logo Lapel and hoped us support Obama. Although I’m not American, I’m interested in this presidential election. Today, when I was surfing online, I found an interesting article, named "Obama’s Plan For America: A Mindmap of His New Book". Perhaps the mind map in this essay can help us understand what Obama government will do if elected and their plans for America.

Yan,
I liked how you linked current events with mind mapping. This is an excellent source of advertisement or Obama. It tries to simplify his thoughts on important topics and encourage people to continue to learn more by reading his book. The link at the top comparing Obama and McCain's policies was interesting. Do you know if WordPress.com is an accurate resource? Do they favor one candidate over the other? I would love to know more. Thank you.

One more quick question. . . How did you set up the survey on the right hand column of your blog? Great idea!
Ashley,
Answer your question:
1. Look at the bar on the top, press the buttom "Customize".
2. Choose "Add a Gadget".
3. You would see a menu, there are many gadgets listed on it, and Survey tool is one of them. You could add one you are interested in.
I just left a huge comment, and got a huge error.
Ok, re-gathering my thoughts.
I like how Obama is using different streams of technology to reach out to younger voters. Mindmaps, blogs, YouTubing, Facebook, MySpace.... the man has put tons of resources into reaching young kids.
With mind mapping, it also allows his major stances and poisitions to be seen clearly through not only a computer, but mobile web users (blackberries, iPhones , etc.)
I like it. The tactic, not his politics :)

Mark,
I have made same mistake--comment-error-rewrite.
you mentioned in your comment that Obama is using different streams of technology to reach out to younger voters. Mindmaps, blogs, YouTubing, Facebook, MySpace, etc. So, I'm thinking if he could win the election, that would partly because of his ability of making good use of those net tools. Therefore, we can also think about how to use them achieve our instruction objectives.
